Solutions for Racial Discrimination.

1) One solution to help fix racial discrimination, is to pass a law, in education, that requires all schools, universities, and community colleges, to have equal opportunities in all their programs offered. Essentially, they need to have the same amount of spots open for every race, in all their programs, to make the system as equal as possible. This would give every ethnicity a chance at being enrolled in any college if they reached all the requirements of that college. Nothing would change in the enrollment process for colleges, classes would just be required to have the same amount of spots for every ethnicity. It would not be a perfect fix, but it would be a good step for fixing racial discrimination as a whole.

2) Another solution to prevent racial discrimination is to have children be taught from a young age right from wrong. It is when we are in our childhood and early adolescence when we learn language, how to walk, right from wrong, and yes racial discrimination first hand. "It is when we learn the most and when our brain expands the most" According to extension.umaine.edu. It's this time that we learn, from our parents, racial discrimination. So to fix this problem, we can introduce programs for young children to help educate them on this sensitive topic. Teaching the younger generations that this racial discrimination is wrong, is a very important step to fixing the problem entirely.

3) Finally, to fix our generation and racial discrimination as a whole, you, me, everyone, needs to rid themselves of the green monster. Jealousy. Jealousy is not something that can disappear, poof it's gone, no. It takes years and years to rid yourself of this trait, and even the best still perform this human act. However, one of the bases of racial discrimination, or any type of discrimination is jealousy. So to ultimately rid society of racial discrimination, the individual has to conquer the green monster. It is not backed up by facts, or any scientists, but everyone has to rid themselves of this part of human nature, for every ethnicity to be able to live together and respect each other.
